I am mama to two wonderful boys who love to play outside with me. My mom always had (and still has) a beautiful yard filled with shrubs and flowers and of course a big vegetable garden, and it just seems natural to me to surround myself and my family with the same sort of beauty and wonder. Nature makes me happy, and here in the suburbs of Seattle in the Cascade foothills, we’re fortunate to be surrounded by lots of it. This blog is a way for me to chronicle the changes in my yard and garden.
